FS: La Bella Deep Talkin' Flats NOS (Unusually short scale!)

Up for sale are some strange strings I picked up at my local music store. They decided to clean up their storage area and found boxes full of new old-stock strings that appear to be pretty old. This here is a set of La Bella Deep Talkin' flats. What's unusual about these strings is that they made for a scale shorter than 30". I attempted to put the E string on my vintage Danelectro bass and found that the silk started about an inch before the nut. If I had to guess, these are made for 28" scale, maybe even a little smaller.

I clipped about two inches off the E string when I attempted to put it on my Dano. There's still a lot of length left at the silk end. The rest of the strings are unused.

I'm asking $15 shipped to CONUS. OBO.

I finally got around to measuring the strings.

From ball to wrap:
E: 30.25"
A: 30"
D: 30"
G: 30"

From ball to end:
E: 36.5"
A: 39"
D: 39.75"
G: 42"

As you can see, with 30" from the ball to the wrap, these strings are too short to fit a 30" scale bass.

Wow - this is amazing. I have a Mimi-P with 25" scale - these should work, I think!!

Please PM me with your payment info. It seems I cannot PM you from my iPad.
