I bought these here from a fellow TBer a couple of years ago thinking they would look really nice installed in my Custom Shop DiPinto semi-hollow bass. I have never gotten around to installing them.
Other than having their leads shortened, they look brand new. There is plenty of lead left to which one could easily solder more wire for a perfect connection.
I recall when Lakland first developed these a few years back to go with their Decade model, they announced that they would make them available separately. That never happened, of course, so this may be a rare opportunity to get a set without buying a Lakland bass. They might be nice to have as a backup set for a Decade owner too.
