FS Late '70s P neck

Sign in to disble this ad
I have for sale / trade a Vintage P bass neck from around '79. It is almost a NOS piece with original tuners/hardware

It has very little signs of use other than some extra mounting holes. Truss works smoothly!
The 10th fret is a bit high is the only thing I see that needs some attention.

I like it, I just have come to terms with the fact that I am a jazz neck guy... They fit my small fingers better.

Here are some pix from the original seller's ad:

$500 OBO shipped.
Perhaps some partial trades?

Is this the same neck that Quad had mounted on the MIM body in his massive vintage P for sale thread a while back?

Yep, thats the one... That first pic is unmistakable!

Further comments on this neck. It is typically wide at the nut like most Pbass's , but quite thin back to front. I don't know my neck shapes that well... Is that a B shape?

Yeah, sorry about that!

Of course there is no better way to make an instrument look good than to put it by a georgous model!

I would entertain some trades as well... What do you have? I'd love to get my hands on a late 70s maple fretless p-neck. I have always wanted a recreation of Sting's Fretless P bass.

There are additional pics in the "original sale " thread - 6th post down
