*crosses fingers* | The retention springs were never an issue when used as an instrument cable as they occasionally were with some pedals. |

Hate to Hi-Jack, but that is not entirely a true statement. Local guitar tech in my area had more than his share of input jack replacements thanks to those springs. Acoustic end-pin style jacks can't handle them long term either. Planet Waves dealers will typically swap them out for you with new style plugs free of charge.
Stores stopped carrying them even before PW stopped making them.
Any Feedback on the Platinum Acoustic Cable??? Love it, hate it, etc??

Are the retention springs on the standard cables the same as on the Cable Station ones? They're pretty small on the CS jacks.
If anyone wants to buy the Cable Station cord but is afraid of those, I have non-retention spring straight plugs I can trade for the right-angle ends. I'd trade non-retention right angle plugs, but I think all of mine are in use- I can check though. I originally sold bongomania the cable, and wouldn't want him out of luck for it. |

FREE BUMP from my ramblings!!!

I just added a brand-new "Silver Bullet" cable to the list.
