FS: Maple+Rosewood USACG Neck

Brand new USACG neck, finished in Tru-Oil. Maple/Rosewood. Nut installed. Just needs tuners. I've had no problems spraying nitro over Tru-oil in the past, if that's your cup of tea. Or you can remove the Tru-oil easily with acetone.

Specifications:
  • Satin Tru-Oil finish
  • 1.625" nut
  • 9.5" radius
  • .800" thickness (thin)
  • Graphite reinforced
  • 6230 fretwire (vintage)
  • 20 frets
  • Fender USA nut
  • Rolled fingerboard edges
  • Standard 11/16" tuner holes

This neck would be $260 from USACG, without finish and nut. I'll let it go for $200 shipped in the lower 48 states. No trades, no international shipping. Price is firm. Paypal is fine.

I also have a body that would be a perfect match: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f129/f...s-body-958178/

No, but they have the darker look of clay dots.

A sweet deal on a nice neck!

May I say that my bass is a USACG P. body and a USACG Jazz neck, and it appears to me that it can't get much better. Very nice stuff. Couldn't be more pleased.

Dang, too bad I don't have the geometry skills or a drill press to make the holes for the neck and tuner screws.

Don't need a drill press. Just a drill and a steady hand! Mount the neck on the body and drill the neck holes through the body holes (of course you'd want to adjust the drill bit so it isn't long enough to drill through the fretboard). Same routine for the tuners.
