FS: Marcus Miller & Geddy Lee Jazz Bass Stock Pickups

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

Here's the deal. I changed the pickups on my Geddy Lee and MM jazz basses. I saved the stock pickups but didn't keep track as to which belonged to which bass.

In the attached pic, I am 90% sure the top pair with the pickup covers belongs to the Geddy Lee jazz. The bottom to the MM jazz. I've lost the pickup covers for the MM pickups. (We were doing work around the house at the time and got misplaced.)

I am hoping to sell these to one person. I am asking for $40 shipped for the pair I believe belongs to the Geddy Lee--the one with the pickup covers. And $30 shipped for the MM pair.

Does either set have cloth leads? The one that does is the Geddy set. I do believe the MM's have plastic leads.

Are the leads removed on both of these?

They are. I asked someone to do it and I don't know why he removed the leads.

maybe he did not want to risk heating the pots with the de-soldering and detached the leads instead? either way, it is weird

Yes, lack of leads is not an issue.

Price drop: $30 shipped for the MM pair of pickups (the ones without the covers), and $40 shipped for the Geddy Lee pickups (the ones with the covers).

Can I ask what you replaced these pickups with and why?
