FS: Moses Headless Fretless Neck

Sign in to disble this ad
FS as is: Moses Headless, Fretless Neck

I've ended my experiment with fretless bass guitars. It's not for me.

For Sale: Moses MB-244-O Fretless Neck to fit YOUR Headless Nut. This is the "original Newberg" neck design, with a single truss rod, drilled for 4 holes & fitted to my Steinberger XP-2. Unlined with 20 side dots. Made to my order in the Summer of 2003.

It is in very good condition, no chips, scratches or dings. Negligible string wear on the fret board. It sounds very, very good. Some minor fitting may be needed to seat in your Steinberger X Series body cavity.

&375.00 firm, shipped ConUS. Payment by PayPal, please.

Photos would help. If I recall correctly, the XP-2 has a zero-fret. Will XP2 hardware work on this neck?

Yes to the zero fret, adjusted to 0.025" on this neck.

The Steinberger XP-2 string holder (head) & body mounting screws (drilled for 4) fit perfectly. Other hardware has never been mounted on the neck.

PM your email & I will send photos with better resolution than I can post on TB. Is there a specific part of the neck you want to see?

Is your interest in this neck or more general?
