I just took this off of my '89. It wasn't the original one, but appears to be OEM stuff.
It's a white, 3 ply guard for the older Single H models. This one is in fantastic condition. It shows very little signs of use and could pass as new from 4 feet away.
The only parts that don't look great are the washer gouges around the holes. Someone put the nuts on too tight and the washers below cut into the guard. But if this is installed on the bass, with knobs covering things up, you'd never notice it.
It's not structural or cut deep, but it's worth mentioning.
