I started this project and then couldn't finish it. It was grain filled and primed, then I could see the body wasn't completely smooth. I re-sanded that area (near the back contour), re-filled, re-sealed and re-primed. Looked good at that point. When I started the Ocean Turquoise Metallic Reranch nitro color coat, I saw areas where the grain still didn't seem completely filled and the body still wasn't smooth. I gave up. I've done a bunch of guitars with Reranch products and Reranch 101 but this one kicked my butt for some reason. If someone takes the time to clean it up, it will be part of a nice bass, or just color and clear coat to your preference and make a relic.
The body is from Musikraft - two piece (pretty sure it was 2 piece) and swamp ash. It weighs 5 lbs 2 oz as it now sits.
