FS: New Nordstrand NJ4 pickup pair

SOLD . . . no longer available

$120 shipped CONUS. This set of Nordstrand NJ4 single coil jazz bass pickups (1 pair. . . the ones in the plastic) have never been installed. I removed them from the packaging to measure DC resistance and that is all the handling that's happened on them ever.

I was planning to use these on a batch of builds, but I have discovered much to my disappointment that the snappy, open vintage tone (which this pickup beautifully nails) is not what I am shooting for after all and need to try some different, more modern options.

So, I need to move these along quickly to someone who will appreciate them so that I can purchase another pickup option.

I purchased 3 sets of Nordstrands (2x NJ4 and 1x NP4) for a batch of basses I'm building. After testing the NJ4's in one of the jazz basses, I have determined the open, vintage tone is not what I am liking. This ad is to sell the NJ4 set that has not yet been installed.

So, to clarify, what is for sale is one set (neck and bridge) of factory new NJ4 jazz bass pickups. . . specifically, the exact ones sitting in the plastic pictured here. I took a pretty photo of a conglomeration of the pickups I had in the batch for reference.
