FS: New Wilkinson Pickups: (MM5 and a MWB set for Jazz Bass)

Sign in to disble this ad
After selling several MM5's we are now down to the very last one!!!

But I am also adding a pair of Wilkinson MWB pickups which are a direct replacement for Fender Jazz pickups.

All pick-ups are new unused but without the original box. (Don't worry, I have plenty of pick up boxes that I can use to send these)

First, the Wilkinson MM5 pickup come with the screws and strings. No wiring instructions. But has 4 wires 2 hot and two ground. These are EXACTLY the same size as the Stingray 5.

The JHS website in the UK lists these for 35 pounds, which comes to about $56 US dollars. So See this site: Wilkinson Guitar Parts for details. There's even a picture of Trev Wilkinson himself. Never knew what the guy looked like. He apparently loves a Strat....

There aren't many companies making the MM style pickups in a 5-string and what's available are rent busters. You can pay $200 for a Duncan MM5, or $185 for a bartollini. Ouch. This one I'll let go for $29 shipped.

The MWB's measue as Jazz styled pickups. We heard a different set a couple of years ago. They're like the Basslines Lighting Rods. That's what they sound like to me.

These we'll let go for $29 shipped as well.

Here are the photos:

MM5

The MWB: I took a close up of only one of the 2 pickups.

i like Pay Pal.
