for sale: never installed, still in original box set of Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups for 5 string basses. Bartolini P2 shape. wired for series installation... I'm sellin em because my bass is an EMG 40 shape and i'm gonna just grab some sd phase IIs...

you know you can have Nordstrand DC in EMG40 shape and tighter string spacing, right?

^^yeah, but there are no good luthiers that i know of around where i live, plus my bass is a beat up schecter lol. with 300 i can just drop some SDs and an obp-3 in til i can afford a really good bass.

You do know that dropping EMG 40 format Nordstrand DC5 into your bass is going to be exactly the same operation as doing so with SDs would be, right? And that it doesn't require a luthier to do it?

I mean I would seriously just send these back to where you got them and exchange them.

^^ yeah i thought of that too, but i got these on a whim at a shop in philadelphia which is about 5 hours from here. i figured it'd be easier to just move these but i guess not

These intrigue me. I have a Groove Shoope V with Big Singles in it. I've read the descriptions on the Nordstrand site.
Does anyone have any experience with both the DC and the Big Singles?
