FS only Roscoe/Demeter 3 band 4 knob pre $175 shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
Roscoe/Demeter pre - 4 pots and 1 switch no knobs. Super clean and very smooth pre, guess I'm more of a classic Roscoe Bart/Bart kind of guy. Currently wired for 9 volt but can run from 9 - 27 volts.

product info Demeter Amplification - Products

I will include the two black dome top knobs at NC.

Pre is fully wired - just connect your pups/ground and install.

Pre is configured Vol, blend, stacked bass/treble, mid and switch for frequency shift which is 500/800.

This was a $250 upgrade from Roscoe... looking for $175 shipped (over seas shipping will be shifted to buyer) paypal OK.

This pre-amp came out of a Roscoe? Was it a factory installed option? My Roscoes don't have a hole for that switch and I thought all Roscoes were 18V.

Yes it was a factory option, they have drills at Roscoe to drill this hole and it is currently wired nine volt but can be changed to eighteen (or twenty seven) should someone desire

The switch changes the mid frequency. If you fear drilling a hole, chose the position you like best, and leave it tucked into the control cavity. Roscoe + Bartolini + Demeter Pre =

or you can always install a push/pull pot for the mid shift and have it all.

How would you describe the sound of the Demeter as opposed to the Barto pre? Interested.

Please explain the sonic difference bet Bart and Dem. I'm considering switching the old Bart pre on my Tobias to something more powerful, suitable for metal bands (7 sting detuned guitars and busy drumming).
Thanks!

The Demeter is more clear and transparent than the Bart, it's a more musical preamplifier IMHO. All preamplifiers are good for metal.
