FS Only : Wymore 60s-Style Stack Knob Jazz Controls

Sign in to disble this ad
Brand new, never been on a bass. Purchased about 1-1/2 years
back from Wymore Guitar for a vintage J project that never materialized.
To the best of my knowledge, they're no longer being made, and I've
not seen anyone else offering stacked J controls with this combination of mods.

Hand assembled by TBer John Wymore with high quality components.
The cool thing: John internally modified the CTS 250K/500K stacked pots
to yield true 250K/250K values, just like you'd find on Fender's early stack
knob Jazz Basses. He also added the twin resistors—originally done by Leo
to prevent cross talk between the tone controls. The controls bring a little
darker, warmer tone to the party compared to the later VVT controls.

The AllParts knobs shown are what John originally supplied. If you want to go
vintage all the way, I can provide you with sources for purchasing Fender's
original style knobs with the rotary detents on the tone control knobs.

I'm also including in the deal (3) of the correct Fender pan-head
mounting screws (regular pickguard screws don't work in this application)

Pricing these at what I've got into them: $90 shipped CONUS USPS
with insurance and delivery confirmation. PayPal only.
