FS: Original Badass bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys! Here's an original Badass bridge from my Ibanez Destroyer pawn-shop score. It's not original to the bass, but it certainly looks like the same vintage - mid-80s, perhaps? Anyway, it's one heavy sucker, and the chrome is in good condition everywhere except the saddles themselves, which do exhibit some pitting. It could also use a bit of a cleaning...

This is NOT the Badass II, which is a direct Fender drop-in. This bridge, as the picture shows, has three screws in the center for mounting. If you want to bolt this on a Fender you certainly can, but you'll be introducing new holes. I understand that this bridge came from the factory on some of the cooler 80s-90s-era basses, like BC Rich and others.

What's it worth? Dunno. Don't really care. I'm not looking to fund my daughers' college education with this; I just want it to go to somebody who will groove on its particular vibe. So let's say $30 plus a few bucks for shipping.

Not hard at all. As I mentioned, I don't believe the screw holes will line up with the ones on your SX body, but if that doesn't bother you, then it should work out fine.
