FS: Peavey Unity Series Dyna Bass Ltd. (project)

Ok, so I bought this thing years ago with every intention of modding it...
...it just never happened.
So here it is - the finish has been sanded away (and I may have over-sanded in a couple of spots) and the electronics are gone (including the pickups).
I wasn't thinking before I started sanding & removed the serial number. There is a chance though that I have some "before" pics on some 35mm film somewhere, if somebody just has to have it.
It does however have the truss rod cover & the battery box cover (which is kinda rare for these basses). The frame for the battery box cover is broken but should be an easy fix with glue. Once it's screwed down it shouldn't be a problem.
Peavey hard shell case included. The case is only a little worn with some scuffs here & there and the latches are tarnished & rusted but every latch works.
Great project bass.
$250 shipped. US only.

My plan was to have it finished solid white, with black hardware. So I have the bridge (BAIII) & tuners (Hipshot) for sale also, if somebody wanted pick up where I left off & complete this project.

I wish I could take this on. Too many unfinished projects already. Wanna trade? It looks like the bass side and treble side of the body are different woods or at least colors. What's up with that?

You don't really want the answer to that.

Yea they are definitely different shades. Different wood though? I couldn't tell you. I seriously doubt it though.
I know it wasn't noticeable when the original translucent finish was on it.
I should really find the "before" pics I took of it...
No trades. I need the $$$.

I'd like to know this as well, along with the nut width, please.

Neck is fine, truss rod works, fret wear is minimal at best. Frets & fretboard could probably use cleaning/polishing.
Nut width is 1.6".
34" scale.
A couple people have asked about weight --- I'm working on that.
Thanks for asking!

If it doesn't sell tomorrow, could I see pics of the back, please? I'm becoming rather intrigued with this...
