FS: Pickups (Aero, Dimarzio, Novak)

Sign in to disble this ad
hey all,
I got a couple of pickup sets sitting in the parts drawer that I'm not going to use so here goes:

1. Aero Type 1 5 string J set - these are of the long/short variety (neck PU is shorter). the two front ears of the neck pup cover have been lightly scraped but nothing that shows when they are mounted on a bass.
125$
SOLD
2. Dimarzio Model J set - the good ole Model Js, powerful tone and plenty of wire left on them.
75$ SOLD

3. Dimarzio Model P - this one was taken off a Nash P-Bass so the covers show the relic treatment.
like the Model Js - hugh tone for that super charged 70s P tone.
60$ SOLD

4. Curtis Novak P - this one was used in my Nash too, replaced in favor of a Lollar which sounded a little less aggressive in that particular bass.
60$ SOLD

5. Unknown PBass pup - purchased from EBay for a now gone Am.Std. P.
I liked it better than stock but when I sold her I put the original back in.
would make a nice cheap pup for a project or a frankenbass.
25$

6. Aguilar OBP 3 - used it in a Warwick that now has a different pre. still lots of wire left on it, no pots though.
60$ SOLD

edit: buyer pays shipping fees (3$ for regular registered airmail to the US. EU residents - please contact me for shipping price).

Interested in the Aguilar pre. Everything works? All the leads are adequate lengths? Also, I'm in New Jersey, US. Ata batuach sh'ze rak $15 lishloach oto le' NJ? V'cama zman ze'lokach M'israel le'po?

Todah!

what string spacing do the Aero's support? Fender width = 18.5mm or Sadowsky width = 19mm at bridge?

Model Js - On Hold

Elionjamz,
it worked great when I had it in a Warwick bass a few years ago, changed the pre back to MEC when I sold it and haven't used the Aguilar since then. plenty of length on the leads, I'll upload a pic of everything for sale later.
I recall that's about right for the shipping but to make sure I'll check tomorrow morning at the post office.

BassmanRay, not sure really, should I check the distance between the center point of two adjacent pairs of pole pieces on the bridge pickup?

a pic of everything for sale.
from top right clockwise:
Dimarzio Model P (Aged by Bill Nash), Dimazrio Model Js, unidentified P pickup I picked on eBay - sounds surprisingly good if you like a rounded P tone, Novak P, Aero J Type 1s, Aguilar OBP3.

ok, I checked with the post office, regular registered airmail to the US for stuff weighing up to 1/2 a kilogram should run about 3$ and takes an average of 7-14 business days.

EMS is 12$ (and not worth the extra expanse IMO).

updated the shipping price in the original ad.

Did you sell the Aguilar yet? I saw that someone wanted them, but if they didn't get them, let me know!

nope, I got them from a TBer who had them in his Brubaker 5 string so no instructions.

if you don't mind me asking, why do you need the wiring instructions?
they only have the standard two wires plus a grounding wire on the pickup cover's shielding/lining (the red wires in the picture).
