This pickup came out of a Fernandes Precision bass. I put a Dimarzio Model P pickup (sold last week) into the bass but preferred the sound of this pickup over the model P. This pickup sounds incredible and is a tone machine. This is a major upgrade over any squier or essex pickup out there. I would put this at about the same level that the US Fender pickups are coming out with. Leads are plenty long. Great pickup/Great Price!
