FS: Project Bass Fodder

Got some project/fixer-uppper basses that I've given up on that I'm sure someone here can use. All prices included shipping to CONUS, Paypal only please!!

1990's Peavey Unity series active 4 string bass: This bass had a broken trussrod nut and could be a nice playing bass once that trussrod is replaced, but I've had no luck getting the fingerboard loose from the neck (melted some of the dot inlays in the process). Electronics and hardware work fine, though it does need a new output jack. Does come with nut and trussrod cover and screws (not pictured). Shipped in a Levy's gigbag. $100 OBO.

Epiphone Thunderbird project: Bought this last Christmas to fix up and didn't get very far after routing the battery box and some paintwork. Neck was bought with the headstock broken off but I epoxied and doweled the neck and headstock together and refinished the back of the neck. Not perfect on the paint job but the repair is solid. Body comes with electronics cavity with screws. Neck comes with Epiphone neckplate and screws, trussrod cover with screws, and nut.

Neck: $50 OBO
Body: $50 OBO SOLD

Neck after repair, before refinish:

And neck after refinish:

I'm intrigued by the Peavey, but just the tuners, bridge and other hardware--not the pickups or body/neck. Would you consider selling them?

I've seen people put a fender neck on those epi bodies, what size is that neck pocket?

What is the preamp layout in that Peavey? Vol, Balance, Bass/Treble, Mid/Mid freq?

People do put Fender necks on Epi bodies for Fenderbirds, but the heel on a Fender neck is much bigger so the neck pocket has to be routed bigger.

And the preamp layout on the Peavey bass is volume, balance, treble/bass, mid with sweep.

bump!
