For sale is a quilt- top "Dinky" Jazz bass body. Complete with pickups, bridge, Bartolini pre-amp, neckplate and neck screws. Just add a neck.
The story on the body that I got from the guy I bought it from is this. I CAN NEITHER CONFIRM, OR DENY THIS STORY. THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD.
This body was made by Warmoth for Sadowsky.
The story I got, was when Sadowsky first started, Warmoth made some bodies for Roger. Either way...its seems Warmoth like. But, there is NO Warmoth logo in the neck pocket.
This body has been played. I would say condition is 7 out of 10.
Lots of swirl, dinged corners. This is a "Dinky" or smaller body.
The core wood is Alder.
I had a Warmoth neck on this body, and it fit perfectly.
60's pickup spacing (3 1/2" from center to center).
Comes with a clear "half-guard". Side jack. Also comes with a black neck plate and black screws.
Pickups are Duncan SJB-1's
Bridge- Schaller, black
Pre-amp- Bartolini MK-1 18volt. There is a stacked mid control. I did not have knobs that were stackable. That is the knob that is naked.
