This came with a 2011 US Fender Deluxe P bass that I no longer own. Not sure what kind of wood it is but it's very pretty and in great shape. Give your US Deluxe P an "organic" vibe!

Man, that pg is so beautiful, its almost tempting to buy a P bass to put it on!

BTW, it looks like rosewood to me.

Here's a pic of my old P that had a rosewood guard... just for reference of how cool this thing will on a bass.
