This is an ESP body. Factory reliced. The neck pocket is slightly narrower than 2.5"...looks like 2 7/16" on my caliper. I have heard of someone fitting a mighty mite neck on one of these so it should be possible to fit a Fender style neck on it however I have not tried to.

Is the neck in the pictures a 21 fret with an overhang? Looks squared off.

yes it's curved underneath...the fretboard is overhanging the body
