This is a used but not abused Roland GK3B midi pickup system for bass guitar.
It comes with all the original mounting hardware. The controller can easily be affixed to the front of a bass with double sided foam tape (included) or you can use the adjustable "body-clamp" hardware. I have used the pickup briefly so I can say for certain that it does work properly.
It comes with a full set of plastic shims that allow for setting optimum pickup height. The original packaging and instruction booklet are also included. I will throw in a Roland 13 Pin midi cable (not pictured) so all you need is a Roland GR-20 or other another Roland compatible midi synth and you are ready to go.
I somehow ended up with two of these and I have the other one mounted on my Ashdown Loadstone Primal Pro 5 string. I use it in conjunction with my Roland GR-20 whenever a project calls for synth sounds, string patches or assorted "atmospherics". This system really works well and I'm quite satisfied with the speed of the tracking.
Here are some photos of the pickup system that's for sale as well as the one I have mounted on my Lodestone. These will give you an idea as to how it can be mounted.
Interesting works great with the separate bridges how do you set it up with a hipshot "A" style?
Good luck with the sale
Typically you would run the wire right along the long edge of the pickup. Either on the bridge side (between the pickup and the bridge) or on the neck side. These can be configured and mounted in many different ways.
