I can't believe I am doing this, but I am letting go of my backup Roscoe Demeter Preamp. Yes, it is true. These preamps are just amazing sweet clear bass with glassy highs, yum.
This a the standard Roscoe configuration, 4 knobs and a switch.
Volume
Blend
Mid
Bass/Treble Stacked
Q-Switch
Operates on 9 - 27 volts dc. So you can use 1 to 3 9-volt batteries with this preamp.
I guess we are down to the nitty gritty, $240 shipped in ConUS and you supply the knobs. |

There's an ash-bodied Century Standard Plus shipping my way TODAY! Once it arrives, I'll have to check out those mids and see how much taming they need.
And I just sold my B1500, so the PayPal account has money in it.....

On my CS I have the J pickups with the Bart preamp and it oozes old school, I absolutely love the tone.
The only reason I am selling the Demeter is to stop me from experimenting on my Century Sig. My Century Sig has an Aguilar that works good with the Mahogany body, Roscoe/Barts and Mac Ebony fingerboard. Though I do have a LG2005 getting some work done at Roscoe with EMG pickups and passive tone control, hmm. Quote:

This one might work there too!

I am not sure of the rating of the mid pot off the top of my head buy you may be able to use the mid push/pull from your Bartolini preamp. Send Gard an Email and he will be able to verify it for you. He may have the parts instock for sale to do it yourself. |
