FS: Rothstein Varitone

SOLD!!

Used Rothstein V6B Varitone for bass. In excellent condition, only two years old with a little solder residue remaining on the wire leads. This replaces your tone pot in passive basses only. Very easy to install, only two wires to solder. Fit in my P bass without any trouble.

Varitone has 6 settings:
1. Bypassed - this is identical to a tone knob in full open position.
2. Mild treble cut - this is identical to a tone knob set near the halfway point.
3. Full treble cut - this is identical to a standard tone knob set at maximum treble cut.
4. Mild mid scoop - great for slapping.
5. Full mid scoop - great for a "modern" hard rock tone.
6. Dark - rolls off lots of treble and mids. Roundwound strings will sound more like flatwounds at this setting.

$38 paypal'd and shipped ConUS. International buyers welcome for additional shipping costs. No trades please.

no dial plate included. no knob included.
Comes with one retaining nut and two rubber washers for securing to your bass. Just as it came new from Rothstein.
