These pickups come in their original 'Fender Mod Shop' packaging and are like new. They were purchased here on talkbass from the original owner who installed them for a single gig, and then replaced them with the stock singles.
I had been waiting months for warranty repair from Fender, so I took the initiative and bought the pickups so I could get my bass back up and running; there was an issue with shipping, (wrong address, forwarding, ultimately lost) and I did not receive the package for over 3 months!! By that time Fender had replaced my USA Dlx Jazz V outright and I had already sold it, and therefor obviously had no use for the pickups. According to the original owner, they sound great and are noise-free, as advertised.
