Extremely little wear on the string posts, the gears and all moving parts in fine working order, and the Hipshot Ultralites are reversible via a small screw on the bottom so any number can be disassembled, reversed, and used on either the bass or treble side for 5-inline, 4-over-1, or 3-over-2 headstock designs. This can also be used to adjust the tension on the key, depending on how much or little you like when turning.
