Great condition. Had them on my Peavey for a couple weeks but decided on upgrading the bass so I no longer need these. Sound great, really nice lows. Pickups are in excellent condition and plenty of wire.

.

Also I'm up for trades as well so feel free to offer. I'm hoping to sell these and put the money toward and SX Jazz, P, or PJ bass or something along those lines. I would chip in some cash too if the bass is worth more than the pickups. Im open to everything so if you have something in mind let me know. Thanks.

I'm lookin for a set of J-bass pickups fro an old '62 re-issue fretless I have. These pickups different sizes? IOW, the neck pickup is shorter, less wide? Also, the pickup routs in my bass are a bit shallower than normal, for whatever reason. How deep are these pickups?

The neck pickup is very slightly shorter than the bridge. My peavey they were in was a little on the shallow side and these seemed to fit without a probem. Here are the dimensions from SD's website.

NECK

BRIDGE

Well bummer I'm having a set of these put in my Squier as we speak. Could of saved 33 bucks. I am hoping it has good lows as you say. They were out of quarter pounders but I had G.A.S. really really bad. Gotta sound much better than those Chinese pups though.

I've never tried the 1/4 pounders, but from what I've read online in direct comparisons between the two, most liked the SJB-2's more. I really liked them, I'm just working on getting a different bass and no longer have the need for them.

Thanks Panaran,

I'll post back on them after Friday nights gig. Can't find much on them in here yet. Still looking.

Well got the bass back, plugged it in to my Roland Cube 100 in my little studio. Same volume I had it at when I took it over to have these seymour duncan sjb-2 installed.
I hit the octave on the G string and every guitar hanging on the walls (12 of them) started singing in unison and the room was shaking. Can't wait for Friday night to see how they sit in the mix. But they are twice as hot resistance wise as the stock Squier pickups were. Nice Bottom, Great Midrange and Good Highs. Now I'm counting the seconds.

Haha yeah I loved the sound as well. Just gettin tired of the current bass i have and wanted to try something different. Im always changing out bass/guitar equipment, i like to keep things fresh.

also heres a close up of the pickups for anybody interested. Sorry about the finger prints and a little dust haha.
