I've had this preamp in my 3-band Stingray for about a year. As money is super tight right now, I'm getting rid of all the "luxuries" I bought in the last year.

This preamp rocks, big time. The way this preamp was designed, the SD engineers took all the "good" aspects of the traditional 2-band MM preamp and developed a 3-band around that idea. So in essence, the SD pre sounds very much like the MM 2-band; with more bottom and less of that harsh top-end zing like the MM 3-band....but it is a 3-band cut/boost. Also, there is a pair of mini-pots on the circuit board that control the "slap" contour....the Vol pot is a push/pull to activate the slap mode. Slap mode boosts the bass and drops out the mids for an awesome slap tone. You can adjust how much bass-boost and mid-cut you want.

The preamp comes with everything you need, all pots wired, 4 black knobs & battery clip. You just have to make about 3-4 solder connections. Comes with instructions and original box/case.

Great upgrade for any single-pickup pass; OLP, SUB, etc.

Preamp normally sells for $125

$95 shipped CONUS.

I also have a Black OLP MM contol plate I can throw in free if you want this preamp for...your OLP.
