Interesting. Do you know if these have a "wide" or "narrow" aperture?

I took them off and they didnt say. only NECK/BRIDGE

Oh man! That's a heck of a deal. If I weren't getting rid of the bass these would fit in, I'd be on them. Always wanted to try the SGDs.

The pick ups are passive. Theyll work with any active pre.

I think they are in my bass. Which is a Rex5. However I think the wood has a Loy to do with that... Mines has maple wings

If these SGD Neo pickups are the same as the ones I have, they won't be the most aggressive sounding that I've ever tried, but they will be very responsive to different playing techniques. If you play hard, you'll get all kinds of nice detail and usable midrange.

What impresses me most about these pickups is the balanced, natural tone that they bring out. They really find a nice happy medium between strings, frets and wood. The neck pickup especially sounds great, and has a nice warm P-bass type of vibe to it, but with more fullness and refined treble.
