Sign in to disble this ad
Up for grabs, an almost new set of SGD pickups (full specs here). EMG 45 shape, wide aperture version. Has the EMG-style quick release leads (which have almost the full length still on them). Just looking to try something different. Current lead time for a new set is 3 weeks+... get these now, for $160 shipped. Pics added tonight. Thanks!

Back from the dead.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, these have the older laser-etched covers with the large SGD logo on them.

Would gladly swap for a 6-string set of EMG's or Barts.

What's the size of the quick release leads? I'm wondering if I would need to enlarge the wire channels in my bass.

Otherwise, I'm definitely interested!

If they're the same size as mine, the leads are less than 1/8" in diameter. The wires are pretty skinny. They fit into a Gecko body nicely.

The quick-release connector is about 1/2" wide (5 x 0.10" pitch pins). I'll take exact measurements when I get home.

Update: here's a picture of a similar pickup:

Ah! Makes better sense. I was concerned the clip was on the other end of the wiring.

Knew I could count on you Tubby!
