Yeah, it's pretty neat. Up until recently I had a five-string version in white. It was my first active bass AND my first with an ebonol fretboard. It was pretty cool being able to play with the tone and sound so much. A lot of variety goin' on there, boyo! Unfortunately, I think I'm a dedicated four-stringer-guy, so I had to let it go. But I liked the fretboard so much that I'm using this body's neck in a custom build. So far, it's fit very well with the Precision body I got (Mighty Mite) so it's a safe bet that it'll match up nicely with either a Jazz or a Precision neck. |
