For Sale: One Squier P-Bass Special Body. This is a P/J configuration. Included is a Fender '62 Re-issue PG in white that fits perfectly (though you'll want to provide your own pickguard screws, only a few rusty ones hold it on), bridge, strap knobs, and jack plate. Pickups are pictured and if you want you can have them, but there are no pots or jack. I do not know the make or model of the pickups. Not pictured is the Squier neckplate and screws, which can be included if you like.
The body is in good condition, though there are a few dents, pictured below. The bass is black metallic. You can see the metallic flakes better in the closeup photos.
I used two different Squier necks on this body, and they fit in the pocket just fine. You may have to drill different holes in the neck depending on the fit, but it should take any Squier/Fender/Fender Licensed neck. The pickguard is about a millimeter or two shy of the neck pocket so it should not have to be altered to make a neck fit.
Some of what looks like scratches in the closeup photos is actually lint.
