FS: Straps!! Italia, Taylor, Kepur

Sign in to disble this ad
Three really nice straps for sale. The first is an Italia black/azure strap. These Italia straps are 4" wide, luxurious, and amazingly comfortable. The leather is supple and rich.

This strap is the longer model, and sells direct from Italia (with shipping) for $91. I have to say that it is worth every penny.

Pamper yourself. Only $55 shipped.

Second is a Taylor suede leather strap. It proudly bears the Taylor logo, and is 2 1/2 inches wide. $20 shipped. Sold.

Lastly, there is the Kepur 1.Zero 2" Classic Smooth Guitar Strap with Graphic (Aum) This is the "indestructible" strap you have heard about, with welded ends and which, according to the manufacturer, never needs straplocks because of the secure way the strap buttons are held. It extends over 5 feet, and people have allegedly towed cars with them. $18 shipped. Sold.

Here's some info from Kepur:

The only stitchless strap.

Guaranteed not to break or stretch and eliminates the need for strap locks! Adjusts to 5' in length. Kepurthane material is smooth, resists moisture, won't crease on your shoulder as webbed nylon straps do, and is 4 times stronger than conventional straps! 2" wide with welded ends. Titanium ink design won't rub off. Limited lifetime warranty.

Quality
Each Kepur strap is crafted to handle the stress load even the hardest player can put on equipment. There is a four point inspection on every piece assembled to make sure it is a quality product. All Kepur straps carry a lifetime warranty against defects of any kind.

Moisture Lock
Kepurthane is macrobioticaly closed cell technology that completely resists any moisture. This strap will not absorb your sweat and generate that awful smell like other materials. Every player is concerned their instrument's metal parts will tarnish or the wiring will corrode causing costly damage and repairs. With a Kepur strap you will be changing strings less often and you won't run the risk of infection from bacteria on your shoulder. The

moisture-resistant material makes cleaning quick and easy just use mild soap and water.

Strength
Core One's dedication to continuous innovation makes Kepurthane material the strongest thin instrument strap available today. In fact, when equal thicknesses are compared, it provides about 10 times the strength of the finest leather or nylon strap. What makes Kepurthane so effective? It works in two ways. First the coated webbing extruded at tremendous heat and pressure and then the seamless welding. Having the best technology available allows musicians like you to give your best performance.

Strap Lock
Kepur ends are so strong there is no need for strap locks. Most instrument straps fail at 30 to 37 pounds of pressure. Kepur is tested at an amazing 280 pounds of pressure. Why is so much needed? Well how much is your instrument worth? Is your live gig going to be affected by your strap failing with your instrument plunging to the floor? Even a good strap lock will become corroded or scratch your instrument, not to mention shelling out the extra dough. Kepur: one strap, one solution the professional's choice in reliability.

Comfort
Kepur has voodoo ergonomics! The superscapular nerve in the shoulder crest area is a major concern for any musician. Most straps create a "Vee" where all the weight goes to one point (ouch). Even padded straps can't stop the pain. The Kepurthane material does not "Vee." Instead it lies evenly on the shoulder distributing the weight of your instrument resisting fatigue and pain in that area.

Conus only, paypal only.

Thanks for looking.

Aum, Aum, Aum!

Throw it in a box with the P-Bass parts and figger postage! You could figger a multi-piece order discount too!

Didn't like the Black/Blue strap, eh? Trade it for something else? I do have a few different straps around. And some new DR strings.

The Italia Black/Azure strap is still available. This is a beautiful piece of leather that makes even the heaviest basses easier on the shoulder. A bargain at $60.
