FS: Tele Project Bass

I'm selling my Tele project bass. I'm putting it here since it is not complete. The bass consists of an SX Telecaster body, an SX Short Scale bass neck, and various parts. Here's the list of everything:

-SX Tele swamp ash guitar body
-SX Short Scale maple/rosewood bass neck (Old head stock)
-MM-style pickup (I believe it's a GFS)
-Fender Chrome Pickup Cover
-Guitar Fetish single-ply white Esquire pickguard
-Guitar Fetish Tele control plate
-2 Fender Knobs, 1 Noname Knob
-USA-made 3-position switch (I forget the brand)
-3 Alpha pots
-Stingray Preamp (made with a PCB from UncleFluffy)
-Neutrik stereo jack
-Square jack plate
-9v Battery Drawer
-Noname Bridge
-2 Strap buttons

This was a really neat project and was my main bass for a couple of months. I've just decided that I prefer playing 5 strings and am in the planning stage for a new project. The bass played great, had nice low action. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. The electronics need to be rewired since this bass was taken apart for a while. (The preamp is prewired.) I never finished the paint job, but the factory clear coat is still on the body so there are no bare spots. Please feel free to ask me any questions.

My asking price for everything is $125 shipped SOLD.

Does the body pocket fit a fender neck and bolt pattern?

I'm pretty sure a Fender neck won't fit the route.

I did the same thing with an SX tele and ss SX neck. Made a really nice bass. Good luck with your sale.

I just love the idea in general. I plan on one day making a new bass similar to the one I'm selling but with a Warmoth body and neck, now that they make short scale necks. It's just neat looking and I got stopped by people all the time asking about it.

I was really surprised by the sound this bass made. Sounds every bit as good as some of my other "store bought" basses. I scraped the neck to remove the finsih and some of the wood and reshaped the headstock. I milled the aluminum piece around the bridge pup to cover an ugly spot. The pickguard is made of poplar. It's painted with Rustoleum. I did another bass like this one too but have since disassembled it and reused the parts.
