I bought this for a MIJ fender jazz that I ended up unloading so it has never been used and still has the protective plastic on it. Brand new.
I believe this PG is best suited for current Fender Jazz models.
I have pictured it below sitting on top of a 80's MIJ jazz. Some of the holes are slightly off with the MIJ (others are dead on) but slight enough that you can enlarge the holes rather than drill in the bass.
