FS: unused strings sets in original packages
 

Hey y'all, I've got some sets of strings here that I'll never use.

They are complete sets, unused, and in the original packaging.

These are for sale only, Paypal only, and prices include shipping to the USA. Items located in Dayton, OH.

- 2 sets of Rotosound shortscale sets RS66S. $40 for both, shipping included. These are good for a bass with 30 inch scale length but not longer.

- 7 sets of DR strings MH5-45 (45, 65, 85, 105, 125). $25/ea, shipping included. Buy one, two, or all, the price per package is the same.

- SOLD 2 sets of D'Addario HR71 (45, 80, 65, 100) steel wrapped half-rounds. $15 each, shipping included. This set has been discontinued, and these particular strings were bought in the early 90s. They've been sitting around for a while, but I'm sure they are ok to use.

- one set D'Addario EXL230. (55, 75, 90, 110) $12 shipping included.

What is the scale length of the 5 string DR and are the B strings tapered ?

Good question... The strings are good for 35" scale, maybe 36" depending on your bridge. The winding is 37" from ball-end to end of the first wrap.

The B strings are NOT tapered.

Strings still available!!! The Rotosounds would be great for your short-scale Jaguar or Mustang bass (anything with a 30 inch scale).

Still have the short scale Roto's?

I'm making yet another attempt at short scale.

Sorry, I just PM'd you too but I realize that the RS66S gauges are 40 - 90 and I prefer a little heavier like 45 - 105.

All strings are still available, except for the HR71 sets...
