So I had the bright idea to offload headstock reshaping and decal application to my nitro guy (who does excellent work with finishes). But he didn't do the reshape exactly right, and the decal is too far from the edge of the headstock.
Being a psycho perfectionist - I simply can't use this brand new wonderful neck.
If you don't want the decal, you can remove it by stripping the nitro from the headstock face with lacquer thinner. The decal will come with it. Then you could respray the headstock face.
Or strip the nitro from the entire neck and do your own finish from scratch.
