will the machines fit a factory MIA jazz?

They should no prob. I had them on a factory MIM Jazz before removing them to sell the bass . . . no one wanted to pay the extra I was asking for the upgrades so I switched it back to stock and sold it that way. Anyway, Yes, they'll fit.
