Hey guys, I have for sale a used set of Villex VP pickups for a precision bass. I bought this but realized I like my Nordstrands just a little more.

Here's the dilleo, previous owner snapped the wires a little too short on the pickups, so it's a tight squeeze with them, but it's an easy fix if you can solder on more wire, or you can try to see if they'll fit in your bass, it fit on mine. I rewired the pickups to a stacked pot, comes with the original pots as well just in case you want to go back, as well as a brand new stacked tone knob. The outside casing of the pickups have light marks on them. The outside wire coat was torn when I received it, I covered it with heat shrink tubing. This does not effect the function of the pickup at all, none of the internal wires are damaged. A better soldering job could be done with the stacked knob... Check out the pics below for reference.

Retail for about $170 brand new, looking for $70 OBO shipped to the lower 48, sorry no international shipping. PM me, thanks!

SOLD

How would you compare these to the Nordstrands? Would you say one set is more aggressive and one set is smoother? I've played a bass several times with a set of Villex Jazz pickups, but was never able to play it through my own rig, so I don't really have alot of context for what I was hearing!

To my ears, the Villex are more aggresive / hi fi sounding while the nordstrands are warmer.

Lower price bump... PM me
