Bought this from my friend joelb, unfortunately white basses don't go well with me no matter how hard I tried

I have since fixed the crack with epoxy inside the control cavity, once you do shielding you won't even see it. The body is very light, less than 4.5 pounds on my bathroom scale.

I don't know if there is any other way to fix the crack but I think this should hold fine. The yellow stuff is epoxy, it was forced into the crack and then slathered a bit around the 2 sides of the crack.
