FS: Warmoth Jazz body quilt top MEC pickups

Got this from another TB'er and thought I would do something with it but never did.

Very nice and light swamp ash body with quilted maple top. Pocket has been modded a bit so you would need some woodworking/luthier skills to make this all work (which I don't), but if you do, the payoff can be a vey nice bass for not much money.

Includes the passive Warwick MEC (silver) pickups. The Wilkinson bridge is NOT included; I thought I would include it but need it for another project.

I was going to include the SX neck as well but I do not have a box to fit both so it would probably be cost-prohibitive to ship both. If you do want the neck as well, lemme know...we might be able to work something out.

So, as it stands, a very nice light swamp ash Jazz body that would cost around $300 from Warmoth with a set of Warwick pickups for $160 shipped (CONUS only). Feel free to ask any questions.

Um, yeah....it's right there in the ad

Also, there is a pic of the back showing the modded pocket; kinda curved in on the treble side. You can kinda see the bass side would be more-or-less normal and the treble side is shorter.

To be clear: you will not be able to slap a Fender spec neck right on this without putting some time in...otherwise I'd be keeping it. I'll try to get another pic up.

I'm very interested in that SX neck if the butt hasn't been modded to make it difficult to fit a stock SX body. Really have been looking for a blocked and bound maple fretboard SX but they seem to be getting scarce.
