FS: Warmoth Pearloid Bound/Blocked Jazz Neck w/ Tuners

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale, with much regret is my Warmoth Jazz Neck. Radius 10", Standard Warmoth Profile, bound in Pearloid Binding and inlaid with pearloid blocks. It's a beautiful neck, finished in satin nitro and sanded down on the back with steel wool to have that worn in feel. 7230 Nickel Frets (Thin and Tall, Lakland Style). I primarily used flats with this bass, so you will find very little fret wear.

I also installed threaded inserts for the neck so that you can make a perfect contact with the neck pocket. This does increase the sustain noticeably. No dead spots. I also installed a 70's Period correct Fender water slide decal, and this is behind the finish.

Full disclosure: Some hard to photograph dings in the headstock, and one on the back of the neck which is very hard to notice even with your thumb. There are scratches under the neck pocket where they cannot be seen when installed.

This neck cost $400 from Warmoth. Cost around $75 for the tuners, and around $20 for the paint and threaded inserts.

$325 --> SOLD <--
Paypal E-Check. Firm Price, No Trades.

Pictures from when new:

PS: I want to keep this neck. No low ball offers, Price is FIRM!

That's exciting and saddening. Either way it happens I'll be happy.

On hold for Kurtd for a 24ish hours as he tries to come up with reasons not to.

Parted out. I now play the same bass you play, Fender Geddy Lee.

Payment hit my account, I think he failed to find reasons not to buy it.

Thats right. "If I don't get it I'll end up spending more money on a similar neck..." Tipped the scale. Looks like another round of musical necks is in order at my place. Need a J body for a fretless....

Hmm.. I saw a nice red wine MIM Jazz body with some dizmarios on this site recently listed. Those pickups might bring out the mwah people always look for (then again so does a good setup and roundwounds).
