I bought this a couple weeks ago and decided not to use a wireless.
Works perfectly. Sounds as good as any cable! The reason I bought this was because you can run the receiver off of a 9v or an adapter. Velcro on bottom of the receiver.
Comes with an upgraded cable with a 90 degree plug.
