I would like to trade my new Aguilar 5jhc pickups for a pair of nordstrand nj5fs. The Aguilar sound great but have a vintage take in the jazz bass. However i like a modern jazz bass sound and would like to swap. Pm me with any offers

Oh, I just saw you are looking for NJ5FS, I have NJ5F on order. Or were you taking plural; NJ5Fs?

O yea. I was referring to the split coils. I've had those pickups before. The split coils actually have a bit more treble and a more modern sound which is what going after.

Ah I see, I have splits in my Fender J Plus and love them, they aren't as modern as I was expecting, but then again it's in a passive bass.

O yea a preamp would help tht. I have a mike pope preamp currently and it makes a big difference.
