FT: Bart MK-1 Preamp for budget phaser/flanger

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Folks,
I recently replaced the MK-1 preamp in my BTB with an Aguilar. I am offering it up as trade bait for an econo phaser or flanger. I'd rather not add cash to the deal, but would consider doing so if a particularly attractive offer was made. This version of the preamp has the sweepable mids, and I am including the stacked knob that came stock with the BTB. I have also thrown in a new jack (the one that came with the Aguilar pre) and ensured that all necessary parts are included. Please note that the preamp functioned properly prior to my replacing it. I'm open to shipping world-wide and since the pre and accessories are small, I can have them sent air mail. Please see pic below.

Can't find any info on MK-1 preamp on the Bart site.
Can you describe the unit's features and the application?
Thanks

Hi Jim,
This is the Korean made preamp that comes stock in several production instruments, Ibanez and Lakland, to name two. It is an 18 volt preamp, with volume, blend, bass, treble, and a stacked sweepable mid range (I am unsure of the frequency points). Some folks think this preamp is quite serviceable but I did not care for it personally; I much prefer the Aguilar, mostly as I found it more expressive (read: aggressive). Hope this helps.
