FT: Flatter Precision Ashtray for rounder version

Sign in to disble this ad
I have this P bass pickup cover I bought a few years back, it is more rectangular than usual and has a lower clearance. It still gets over my strings and has been fine, but high action or pickup height poses a problem at times. I'd like to trade it for one of the rounder versions with more clearance. This one has .75" at the center. Like I said, it's fine so I'm in no rush to lose it. Trade only.

Please put me first in line for a trade for your "flat" chrome cover for my "round". PM sent.

Sent a PM but need to know if this is an original Fender P Bass pickup cover or one from an "overseas knock-off P Bass". These flat ones like you have are probably from the 70s and worth some bucks! Sure ya wanna trade for the new roundish ones?

Interesting.
What's the measurement between the mounting holes?

I'll measure when I get back home tomorrow. I just had it on a bass though and got a Fender "rounder version" to fit fine. Just looking for a second "round".
