FT: Pickguards (misc. Jazz, P, and short scale SX) for white Squier jazz pickguard

Sign in to disble this ad
I have PGs for Geddy Lee and American Deluxe Jazz. I'm looking for a Squier Jazz guard, the older type where the guard extends down to cover the control cavity. Anybody have one to spare? I've searched the pickguard sites.

Thanks!

Here's what I have:

1. Geddy Lee - original pickguard, w/b/w
2. USA Jazz Deluxe - original greenish white, 9 holes w/truss rod notch w/b/w
3. USA Jazz Deluxe - Pearl, 9 holes w/truss rod notch, p/b/w
4. P-Bass white, w/b/w, 13 screw holes, holes for three controls
5. P-Bass gold anodized aluminum, 13/3
6. Custom made tort pickguard for SX short scale jazz bass. Beautiful 4-ply, t/w/b/w, never used, still has plastic (I think it would cost a ton to replace this one, but I'll still trade for the right Squier guard.)

Bump. These are some really nice pickguards. The one from my super modded Squier cracked, so I need one badly.

Here's a pic #4 as requested. The fellow I purchased it from (a reliable source) says it came from his 1998 MIA Fender P Bass.

Bump.

If I can't find a trading partner with the Squier pickguard I need, I'll put at least some of these up for sale...the gold anodized, the white P, and the custom made SX guard.

I also have a black P Bass guard that I haven't identified yet, but I'll try to post something about it soon.

Okay, the SX tort guard is sold.

The price for the gold anodized guard is $30 plus shipping. These cost a ton to have made. WD was $55 plus shipping. AllParts was $62 plus shipping. I saw a place online which advertised $42 plus shipping, but I don't know if they are using the same quality materials.

The white Fender P Bass guard is $20 plus costs. I usually like to put exact prices, but I really don't know how much it will cost to ship these guards. I want them to get there fast, so I don't like parcel post, because it is way too slow. Overnight is way too expensive. Most likely, Priority Mail will be the best way to go. I know the small boxes are about $6 with insurance, etc., but not what the heavy envelopes run.

Anyway, let me know if you have any questions.

The gold pickguard has three control holes in it, 13 screw holes. Really nice quality.
