Are the pickups and bridge routs centered? I know there can occasionally be a problem with SX's (mine doesn't have this problem) where the strings will not pass directly over the poles on the pickups due to a poor route.
Are you including the bolts for a neck?
Do you have any pictures of the bass with a neck on it?
Any chance you have a black PG for it?
Thanks in advance!

| | | The bridge and pickup routes are centered, at least from what I could tell before I took it apart. What I do know for sure is that I never had any intonation, setup or sound problems with the bass when its neck was still in shape. I actually played it a few days ago with the old neck (long busted - it's so bowed I could shoot arrows with it) and it sounded as good as ever.
Bolts will be included at purchaser's request.
No pics with the neck and no black PG (though I've always wanted one for it), sorry . |

I'm having a bit of trouble locating SX necks...lol. Rondo is basically bone dry when it comes to stock, I'm assuming because of the new headstock switchover coming.

And is the neck pickup route a swimming pool (I'm assuming it is, but on the off-chance that it's not I figured I'd ask)? Thanks! |

| | | | I'm not sure of the precise measurements of the neck pocket but, fully kitted, the bass weighs about 7.5 pounds - definitely manageable. Neck pickup route is huge. |

And what were you doing? Watching him? Can you take more photos of the pocket, like side views? How far out of level is it?

| | | | I am unfamiliar with SX necks but I believe that Fender necks have the same size pockets whether or not they are P or J at 2 1/2 inches wide. I am sure that if you measure the width and find that it is this size and then post the measurement, you might have more luck unloading this. I happen to have a standard Fender Jazz Fretless neck that would look great on this if it would fit in that size pocket.

The natural finish SX bodies can be very nice.
Eh. whatever.
