G&L MFD Pickup

G&L MFD Pickup like the kind used in L-2000, L-1500, L-1000 models.

I bought this from a TBer over a year ago. I was going to take a Fender P Bass body and make a Wunkay. I'm still tempted to do this but I already have a G&L Wunkay, so why should I?

Includes 2 separate G&L Wunkay (L-1000) printed schematics.

Both coils read about 4.4k ohm or about 8.9K together.

No hardware. Excellent condition. $89 shipped PayPal USA 48

(brand new price from G&L $120 + shipping)

Don't be fooled by the seemingly low resistance; these things are LOUD! Heck, maybe if I can wrap up some EBay stuff I'll be back to check on this one...

Thank-you, Ethan for your comment and you are very correct about the MFD. I got a Wunkay Hog and so I know.

Humm, there's an idea! What would be a 3K? Three MFDs on a bass! Rather than buy 2 more MFDs, I'd just like to sell this very one.

With the 2 included G&L factory schematics (one hand written, the other printed version) a moderately skilled DIYer can build a Wunkay from a P Bass body or other type of body.

I did the same thing. Already have an L-1000 and I made another out of a Peavey T-45. It wasn't the same and I always played the L-1000.

Interesting making a T-45 into an L-1000.

My plan was to put the MFD into a Fender P Bass body (with a pickguard cut for the MFD) and have a L-1000 P Bass.

I'd still like to try this out but I need to stop building basses and start playing more. So, I've bailed out on the project. Thus, trying to sell the MFD on TB.

yes, play more, trade less. I should practice right now, but I have to list another bass.
